What do you mean?  Are you saying that someone other than the original author can accept the reply as the solution?  How?  I don't think I've seen that...

I wasn't sure how this new feature was working. 

I was thinking that if someone continued with the thread by posting a new message then someone else providing another answer that provided a solution to that new post, it could be accepted again but by the originator of the new message.

Hence I basically answered my own question when I submitted the post and found I didn't have options available to me.
