disappearing horizontal lines?

Looking at this post, the quoted text is not delimited by horizontal lines, however, when I edit it, the lines are there.

Also, the html code shows them. I am not sure why the post has a darker background. Could it be that the lines have the same color?

Here are a few horizontal lines for more testing:

Aha! They are now light grey. They should be darker!

(This is on chrome).

Hi altenbach,

Thanks for reporting this. There is a css issue causing the horizontal lines to appear lighter in color (#eee) than normal (#989898) when inserting using the button in the text editor

This does not happen when you use a horizontal line inside of a <blockquote>, which is what is inserted  into a post when you use the quote button above the text editor.

Example:

I'll follow up internally to get this addressed.

As for why your post has a darker background, you'll see this when the URL is higlighting the particular post. For instance:

This is highlighting a particular post: http://forums.ni.com/t5/Feedback-on-NI-Discussion-Forums/disappearing-horizontal-lines/m-p/3254107#M12608
This is the same topic, but no post is highlighted: http://forums.ni.com/t5/Feedback-on-NI-Discussion-Forums/disappearing-horizontal-lines/td-p/3254107

I'll post back when I have an update on the line color issue.

Thanks,
