DIAdem Data Plugin for LeCroy Oscilloscope Waveform Files

I'd like to know if there are any plans to support LeCroy waveform files (specifically for WaveSurfer 434) with a data plugin for DIAdem?

I don´t know if my colleaques in Aachen plan to write a data plugin for DIAdem.

you can request a DataPlugin.

Or you can write your own PlugIn, thats not so difficult. A good helpfile can be found here:

Hi Andreas,

Here you go. I've successfully used the Matlab script (to be found on the official Mathworks support website) to extract data from the sample waveforms. There also seems to be a similar tool for Mathematica (see http://www.gsi.de/beschleuniger/groups/HFQ/projects/mathematica_packages_e.html).

in fact Walter just came to my desk to mention your request. I was a bout to send your files to Walter so that he can look into the documentation. Please give us some time to evaluate what it would take to provide a plugin. Would it be possible to get some more example files ?

I could certainly acquire some more waveforms, but at the moment all I have is similar to what I've sent you already. Would you need these files right away for your estimation, or only later on during the plug-in development?

We will look into the documentation even with only one example file available. It's just when we would start testing when the additional files would be helpful. I will post another feedback once we know how we want to proceeed with the plugin.
