Caméléon, anyone familiar with this?

Just stumbled across this "language" today and found it quite interesting.

Anyone familiar with this?

I find some of the visulalisations used to be rather interesting, especially the component boundaries (or what I'm assuming are component boundaries).

I'm not really impressed by the grammar on the site. And, coming from me, that is harsh.

Yeah. Grammar isnt really what caught my attention. Well it did, but still. What about the visualisation at least?

Interesting how they refer to the creation of algorithms as "play", they even refer to Lego. I've always considered the process of creating LV code enjoyable, but it's the first place I've seen that actually promotes the idea of graphical programming as fun.

There is this very old LabVIEW poster with the spray cans and the text "It's OK to have fun". See the background here (unfortunately, the resolution is too low:().

I have to take a new picture of it, I am sure I still have it somewhere.

We should campaign NI to reintroduce the idea of "fun coding".
