Documentation on the developer zone is misleading and incorrect as to how code in the Diagram Disable Structure is handled in memory.  The article referenced in this thread seems to indicate that LabVIEW Development System will not load the code in a Diagram Disable Structure into memory unless the block diagram is opened.  All code in the disabled cases is loaded into memory with the VI, regardless of whether the block diagram is open.  The stripping of the code appears to only happen in built EXEs.

A minor bug : wires are always hidden behind pictures or decorations copied to the block diagram, even if these objects are "moved to back".
