So if you can't see if a dwarf is male or female (gender is unobserved), does that mean until you find out for certain (dna test?), by extrapolating shroedingers feline, you get the dwarf being both male and female at the same time untill the dna test is read and the dwarf drops from both into one?

If Iunderstood the books of Pratchett correctly, you would be quite a guy/girl if you come close enough to a dwarf to take a DNA-sample.
