Some exceedingly wierd behavior is described in the following thread:

Indicators get changed values without ever receving any new data.

Regarding the bug reported here "Memory Leak using a Slide Indicator in LV PDA"

There has been another patch issued .. .it can be found at the previous link (here)

- I supppose that this fixes the problem without introducing the bug that was introduced in the first version of the patch.  I cannot test it as I am near the end of the development cycle and I do not want to rock the boat ( or the development environment - if you know what I mean) ... If anyone tests this and finds that it solves the problem without the bug reported in the original thread being introduced, please post to the original thread and let us know.

Thanks all

See original bug post here:

This is not a show stopper but I noticed it.
  1. Go to the diagram.
  2. Click the coloring tool and select the system custom color picker.
  3. pick a color.
  4. go back to the diagram and color it.
  5. Notice that the VI titlebar does NOT have the focus.
  6. Switch to the select tool with the spacebar.
  7. Select some code and drag it around.
  8. Notice that the VI titlebar STILL does NOT have the focus.
  9. Grab the titlebar and move the window around.
  10. Eventually the focus will come back.
If anyone get's a CAR number please append the original post with it.
Thanks

Michael,

Thank you for posting!  We would really like to follow up with you on this issue and file a CAR if necessary.  However, to do that we ask that you please post potential LabVIEW bugs like this to the regular LabVIEW discussion forums (http://forums.ni.com/ni/board?board.id=170).  AEs do not monitor Lava or Breakpoint (which is why you have not heard back from us on this yet).

Thanks for posting, and if you link your thread to the September bug forum, we will have someone double-check to make sure you got an adequate response.

Have a nice weekend!
