This forum has been thrashed with posts clearly having nothing to do with NIWeek. For the past year and a half, nearly all the threads have been "the same two posts":

I'm going to go ahead an broaden this topic: many of the "smaller" forums - including this one, the Feedback on NI Discussion Forums - have a high density of misplaced posts. Can a campaign be started against these posts? Can selected community members be delegates to mark these posts, and then Laura and friends archive or stash (or delete) them?

I didn't know it existed either until last night. It's under Forums, then Special Interest Boards, then at the very bottom of Additional Interest Boards. And because the Additional Interest Boards does not have the same format as the above boards (they each show descriptions under the board name), my internet cognition didn't even recognize them as boards.
That being said, it would be a good idea to clean up the board and then create an Announcement: "Discuss your NIWeek plans with others" with a link to that forum.

I think the NIWeek forum is now replaced by this NIWeek group: http://decibel.ni.com/content/groups/niweek
Therefore, the NIWeek forum can be shut down unless anyone has an objection. I'll make sure that's OK with others here and we can disable it.
As for the other forums, if you'd like to notify users posting in the wrong place that they've done so and give them a link to the correct board I will delete the original message once that person has re-posted, provided I am notified by someone. I just don't like to delete their message if that's the only place they've asked the question.
Thanks!
Laura

That group is for NIWeek 2009. Will a new group be created for 2010?
