problem : communication with sensor

Hi,

I flashed a MicaZ mote with an embedded web server smews

Now I want to test the web page.

I use a MIB510 program board and serial port.

I tried  with linux system by using this two commandes :

$slattach -s 115200 -p slip /dev/ttyUSB0 -L &

$ifconfig sl0 192.168.1.5 pointopoint 192.168.1.8 mtu 1500

I tested with Win xp by creating a new connection but I have the same issue.

Could you help on this.

Thank you.

med_alpa,

You've commented on what you're doing, but what are your questions?

(I will reply more to your other post.)

Hi,

yes my question is not clear, because I don't know the reason of the problem.

My problem is : I can't acces to the web page embedded in the MicaZ sensor (the web server is not responding).

ok My questions are :

1) How to verify if it's related to the sensor or the serial line?

2) Is there any stepsto do : should I flash sensor keeping the switch off or on?

3) when I test, should I keep the switch on the mib510 turned ON or off?

4) Is there any additional commands to run before accessing the web page (slattach and ifconfig)

Thank you.

med_alpa,

National Instruments does not make the MicaZ node.  I would recommend asking on the Crossbow forums.
