I have got Error 1 every time i open veristand:
When i click continue and try to open project, i have this error message:
Host PC situation:
- No other one logged in exept me
- I have restarted host-pc
- I have rebooted RT-Controller
- Error 1 still exist when veristand is opened. Error 1172 is also popped up when i open project.
- I have reinstalled NIVS on RT-Controlller, but errors are still occured.
So, this link which has similar problem with me, won't help.. ;(

Hello Rajamodol,
some thinks you can test
1. under services.msc shutdown the windows firewall
2. check if Net framework 4.5 or later is installed
3. check if a second instance of VeriStand is running
4. Install latest patches
If this not helps reinstall the software on the PC
1. deinstall the NI software from your
2. delete the folders
3. clenup registry
4. start with a fresh installation
Sorry for this.

Hello Rajamodol,
you can reset the MAX
or try to update the System Configuration Software which brings a newer MAX version.
Hope it helps

Hi Alex,
thank you for your guide!
I have once again remove all NI product installed on my test system, it means deleting directory National Instrument under "C:\Program Files (x86)\". I used also msiBlast.exe to clean up registry.
I installed LabVIEW 2012 SP1 and upgrade it to LV2012 SP1 f5... it's ok until this point.
I opened MAX to see my PXI. Then the same error occured. As your suggestion, i cleaned up MAX database. But, it didn't help. Same error, my RT-Controller was detected, but no chassi.
I try to upgrade NI MAX to the newer version.. then i got this error message during installation:
I am really frustating now.. 2 days just for reinstallation and no progress...
Any help/ideas would be very appreciated!!
thanks again,
Rajamodol

Hello Rajamodol,
have you tried to stop the service manually
Start --> type "services.msc" and search for the NI Service and stop them manually.
