After installing NI Veristand 2010,it does not open the program. When clicking the Veristand icon,it closes itself by saying that 'an error has occured.please close the program. I have Windows 7,32 bit and I have both Labview 2009 and 2010. I tried uninstall and reinstall the program but it does not work. Could you please help me about this issue?

Hello There,
VeriStand 2010 should be compatible with your system (Win7, 32bit with LabvIEW 2009 and 2010) as this is the same system software setup as mine.  Nevertheless, below are my suggestions:
1) Try running the program as an Administrator. Right click on the icon and select "Run as Administrator".  You may have a privilege issue.
2) As you have done before, uninstall and reinstall again.  Please follow the procedures below:
Uninstall by going to Control Panel » Programs and Features.  Select Uninstall/Change National Instruments Software and select VeriStand 2010 » Remove.  After the uninstallation completes, reinstall Veristand 2010.
3) Inspect the installation disk.  Make sure that the disk is in good condition.  You can download VeriStand as evaluation and activate it using your serial number.

Hello There,

We can better evaluate the reason for this crash by using Procman (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx).  Process Monitor is an advanced monitoring tool for Windows that shows real-time file system, Registry and process/thread activity.  More information is provided below:

Using Process Monitor to Obtain Information About a LabVIEW Crash that Doesn't Generate a CPP Log

After downloading and installing, please take a screenshot of your results so we can identify the source of the issue.
