Add new automatic frame processing calculation

I'd like to add a new type of CAN frame processing calculation. In the Automatic Frame Processing tab of the CAN port settings I see two kinds of CRC, but I need to add a custom checksum calculation, how can it be done? I suspect that it is a simple VI that is compiled. Is it possible to add a new calculation? Is there a template?

to have calculations, you have to programmatically set up your CAN communication...

this is not a easy thing as to program afp driver
