This test returns a failure for any XNode detected on a block diagram. Some of the most common XNodes include the Error Ring and the Match Regular Expression function.
This test is saved in LabVIEW 2020. Follow the instructions here to install and use this test.
XNodes are an undocumented feature of LabVIEW and there is value in being able to detect unofficial XNodes. I'm just a fan of them and am making a joke about being able to detect them as a failure.
Well, large number of items in FPGA is are xnodes. So I don't recommend running this test on FPGA VIs.

As cool as XNodes are, they have a long and storied history of causing problems. I created this VI Analyzer test to help track them down in situations where they are (still) causing problems.
