how to ignore the transmit signal in the same USRP when receving the signal from other USRP

Hi,everyone.

I want to ignore the transmit signal in the same USRP when receving the signal from other USRP.I want to use TX/RX to transmit signal, then I use RX2 to receive signal from other USRPs.I tried to ignore the signal from TX/RX to make certain the signal I receiv is from other USRP . The transmited signal I konw must be in the receive buffer. But how can I know the exact position. It seems that the received signal I ignore is not the transimit signal.  Thanks very much.

Hey llg9012,

Take a look at this thread:

http://forums.ni.com/t5/USRP-Software-Radio/How-to-isolate-the-signals-between-TX-RX-and-RX2-on-the-...

That should provide some more information about your question.

Thank you,Sarah Y. I read the program, but I still don't find an explicit soluton. I noticed it used the timestamp.Does the timestamp can help to ignore the signal transmited by itself when receving signals from other USRPs. I just want to make certain I ignored the signal transmitted by itself in the receive buffer, but also I can extract the siganl from other USRPs in the receive buffer.

Hey llg9012,

There is a setting on the write data function that you can use that turns off the amplifier of the transmit chain once it is done sending data.  This setting is called End of Data?  I posted an example on this thread that shows how to use this setting.  It does not isolate the transmit and receive signals, but it makes sure that when you are receiving a signal you are not transmitting at the same.  This may not be exactly what you need for your application, but hopefully it can be a starting point.
