USRP 2922 TX LO Leakage

Can any one tell me why if I feed fixed IQ input into the Write TX Data vi I get a cw output that is approximately 2.4kHz high of the local oscillator leakage. Is there any way of reducing the LO leakage as this will cause me problems with my low data rate signal.

Hi,

One way of avoiding the LO leakage is by manually setting the LO frequency away from the carrier frequency.

This can be done with the help of the "LO Frequency" property node as shown in the attached image.

To understand more you can read:

http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/373380B-01/usrppropref/pniusrp_lofrequency/

Thanks for pointing that out.

Fortunately I have a suitable bandpass filter that can suppress the LO and image.

For any comming to the thread in future LO Frequency is under

Select Property>Configuration>Advanced>

It may save a bit of time rather than having to check out all options as I had to to find it.
