A Silver control boolean with a "power" glyph, requested on Idea Exchange.
2010 Version PLS
Silver controls are only supported in LabVIEW 2011 and later.
Power control is great, I needed that too, thanks.
I think we need a lot more button glyphs. Perhaps you could have them available to load as optional libraries, just in case users don't want a whole bunch in their pallette.
I would like:
Can you make a nice thermometer/temperature control and a sweep control? Pretty please? How do I go about making these myself? I have made custom controls in the past, but yesterday I tried to make my own silver control and is was more difficult than I thought it would be.
Thank you Christina!
The Silver buttons use Public Domain icons from the Open Icon Library.
If you select an image that you want (either from the Open Icon Library or from another source that I can legally redistribute), I will make a button for you and also create a tutorial to show how I did it.
That sounds good, thank you for the help!
Hi Christina,
Okay, I found an image I would like to be turned into a (Silver) button.
The image is from the Open Icon Library link that you provided above and I would like to use it for "Temperature." The tutorial would be awesome.

Christina,
Is there a way that we can get the "pinned" and "unpinned" symbols/images that you are using for the listbox in the new LabVIEW 2012 Getting Started Window (for pinning/unpinning recent VI's and projects)? I really like what you guys did with that and we want copy that feature for a section of our code.
Amiri
I uploaded the pin images here: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-24564
Hi Amiri,
I made a tutorial for changing the decal on Silver buttons: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-24727
I didn't attach the button with the image you selected, however, because I don't think that image is part of the Public Domain package and I don't want to get into licensing problems.
