Is there no NiSwitch C function to determine the current topology?

See that you can easily change the topology, or set it on initializing the session.  But it seems the C functions provide no straightforward way to see what topology is currently configured on a switch card.  Do i need to resort to checking which channels are valid and deducing the information from there?
