I am still getting myself familiar with NI Switch Exec.
When I try to create a database in NI Switch Exec, this message pops up, "An error has occured while attempting to access device Matrix0." What are some quick fixes?

Hi Jerry_Bob,
Verify under IVI Drivers in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) that your Logical Names, Driver Sessions, and Hardware Assets (if you are not simulating) are configured correctly.
The Logical Name "Matrix0" should refer to the Driver Session.
The Driver Session should have the General, Hardware, and Software tabs filled in with information.
If you're attempting to simulate the device, the Software tab should have a IVI-C compliant switch driver listed (such as niSwitch) and the General tab should have the entry Simulate with Specific Driver.
If you're not trying to simulate the device, the Hardware tab of the Driver Session should point to a Hardware Asset (in the Advanced folder).
The Hardware Asset should have a valid Resource Descriptor (if a NI switch module, should be the same as a DAQmx Device name).
Hope this helps!

When I stated, 'The Logical Name "Matrix0" should refer to the Driver Session', I meant 'The Logical Name "Matrix0" should point to the Driver Session'. In other words, from the Logical Name, you can click the Go To button to jump to the Driver Session.
