scc-ai14 and first stage connection

I have installed SCC-AI14 into Sc-2345  fine and getting result. But input impedance of SCC-AI14 is not suitable for my need and I installed high input impedance module to J9-J16. But There seems to be no connection between pin 17,18,19 , 20 in J1-J8 and SCC-AI14 input. First stage modules in J9-J16 work but no result from SCC-AI14. Even connecting signal source to pin 1,2, 4, 8 in J9-J16 do not work.

Also SCC-AI14 get warm in 1 hour. Is it normal?

The SCC-AI modules are not designed to work as the second stage in a cascading solution. Refer to this KB for details about which modules can be cascaded in the 1st or 2nd stage:
