Hi all,
i have a NI PCI-e 6323 boards and
i'd like to know if is there an available TEDS for a Unik 5000 pressure sensor from GE or if not how i can create a virtual TEDS and which benefits this action can have for my pressure measurement task.
Thanks in advance

Hi Mariano,
in the following you can find informations on how create and use virtual TEDS files:
How Do I Create a Virtual TEDS for My Transducer/Sensor?
How Do I Create a Virtual TEDS Task with the DAQ Assistant?
Here you can find some examples:
Reference Example for Reading and Writing Calibration Information to Virtual TEDS Files
I hope these informations will help you.
Kind regards.

Hello Cla_Cup,
i premit i'm not using LabView 'cause we use .net library to interface with pci 6323, additionally the last two links you provide me are broken, browser reports page not found

Also what reported at http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/B0B0FFA7203ACC168625714300680CA0?OpenDocument
[...]
Solution:
Virtual TEDS files can be downloaded from NI’s Virtual TEDS Database. You should check this database first to see if any TEDS are available for your sensor.
[...]
the link for NI’s Virtual TEDS Database doesn't work (http://sine.ni.com/vteds/VirtualTEDS) and my browser is redirected to http://www.ni.com/products/i/

Hi Cla_Cup, thanks for the answer.
The issue here is that i'm not using labview and the link is about
" How can I create a Virtual TEDS for use with this sensor in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) and LabVIEW?"
so i'm wondering if there is a tool to create TEDS virtual file 'cause i haven't found it in NI database.
Is it possible to take advantage of this technology using .NET coding? virtual TEDS file is intended to be loaded in MAX for the appropriate analog input of PCIe 6323 card?
Thanks in advance.
