I have a configuration as follows
PXI chassis with PXI 8109 controller and PXI4472 as DAQ. For signal conditioning I am using SCXI1520 in an SCXI 1000 chassis which is configured in parallel mode. Guages are connected to this 1520 module throgh 1314 terminal block. All eight outputs of this 1520 is taken throgh 1349 and given to 4472 inputs. My problem is that my signal level gets altered when I connect the 1520 outputs to 4472 inputs. For exempale, my signal level at 1520 output is 1V when i dont connect it to 4472 input(measured using a DMM). As sson as I connect it to 4472, signal level gets altered to 0.8V(measured using a DMM) and also reading 4472 input using DAQmx gives me only 0.8V. Why is it so? Any grounding issue? Please help.
