SCC is not recoganaised in Matlab analogue input

Hi,

I have tried to create an input pobject using:

 ai2 = analoginput('nidaq','SCC1Mod1')

Using daqhwinfo('nidaq') the SCC board is shown, however it cannot create the object.

The following error is shown:

??? Error using ==> analoginput.analoginput at 121
This device is not recognized by the toolbox.   However, many times, support
for new hardware can be added.   Visit The Mathworks web site and search on
the name of your device for more information.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Hi REH_FCET-

     Does the device show up in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX)?  You should first verify that the device is recognized by NI-DAQmx by verifying that it shows up under Devices and Interfaces in MAX.

Yes, it does show up in MAX, and I am using the assigned ID for the device.

Hi REH-

     At this point, I would refer you to The MathWorks support for the best help possible.  We do not program using Matlab, and you are likely to get more info from them.  There may be someone out there on the National Instruments forum that knows MATLAB that may post here, but you are likely to get more help from Mathworks.  I wanted to at least verify that our hardware was working correctly and configured in MAX.

     I also suggest looking into LabVIEW as a programming environmentSmiley Wink

     Have a great day!
