I got a uni project that I would be grateful if someone could give me a hand.
I have a tension test where a have strain gages that make a full Wheatstone bridge (4 strain gages) that are series C 1-XC11-3/350.
The configuration that I am using is the following; it compensates the temperature and eliminates the bending effect, I am only focused on axial stress.
I know that the maximum strain the SG are gonna measure are around 2200 microstrains Therefore, the max output signal is gonna be 3.2mV/V.
Then if my excitation Voltage is 2.5V (the daq voltage range I was looking at is 2.5V), and it has 12 bits of resolution; my resolution in term of V is 0.6 mV... which seems to be not good.
I just don`t know what is the resolution that I should get, and also I am lost with finding the right DAQ and amplifier within a normal range of price.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
