Additional AO signal from BNC-2120

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I have a BNC-2120 planned to be used with the PCI 6323 device. I am required to take three analog outputs (AO) but the BNC-2120 has got only two BNC connectors for AO signals.

Is there a way I can obtain a third AO signal from the same box (BNC-2120)?

Thanks!

No, you've to buy another BNC-2120 and connect it to Connector 1 on PCI 6323.

Few things to clear up for you,

  • PCI 6323 has two connectors - 0 &1
  • Each of the connectors has only two AO mapped to pin 22, 23

  • BNC-2120 mapping signals for only ONE of the connectors
  • When you connect BNC-2120 to Connector 0, those two AO BNC Map to AO0 and AO1, when connected to Connector 1, those mapping becomes AO2 and AO3 as defined in the user manual of BNC-2120.
