Hi @rezameharnpour

If your application will only perform OCR, I would recommend an Industrial Controller if you need a compact system. However, if space does not matter you can use any computer with good spec. Concerning the camera, I recommend a Line Scam camera. Here, I leave links for reference.

Compact Vision System

Line Scan Camera

For more detailed advice I would recommend contacting support.

such as https://www.vision-systems.com/articles/print/volume-22/issue-8/features/cpu-or-fpga-for-image-proce...

that shows FPGA is not suitable for OCR

could you help me please

Hi

If your application needs to be deterministic I would recommend using an FPGA or an RT system. However, I think that for your application a conventional OS like Windows may be suitable. Using LabVIEW the FPGA can be used for OCR, the main restrain or limitation is that the FPGA does not have a substantial memory that can be used to store the image or to store the processed image. However, this document explians what can be done:

Introduction to FPGA Vision Using the NI Vision Development Module
