discovering a c-rio in MAX

Solved!
Go to solution

I have a running c-Rio 9014 (running code downloaded by a NI value added reseller), however My version of MAX can't discover the c-Rio on the local net.  Even when I try to add the C-rio address, and the C-rio is connected directly to my divelopment system.

Are there rio drivers that I need to add to MAX or to my base development system (8.6) ?

I don't need to compile / deploy, only to connect to the c-Rio to look at the connected nodes.

You do need the NI-RIO driver to be able to see your target in MAX or LabVIEW. The first version that supports LabVIEW 8.6 is NI-RIO 3.0.1 which you can find at http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/1162/lang/en.
