NI-Compact DAQ vs NI COMPACT RIO.

Hi,

I have given a task to developp ATE for power analysis. For this i require acquiring voltages upto 250Vrms and current upto 5-10Arms and need to get capability of transient analysis for my input signals.

As i have searched the two C-series modules NI-9225 and Ni-9227 works for me.

but I'm stucked at choosing NI - COMPACTDAQ or NI - COMPACTRIO.

Any one plz help....... or any other suggestion plz let me know

regards

Check that post to help choose a cDAQ or cRIO.  Depends what kind of measurements you need.

I would highly recommend using a current transducer instead of the 9227.  That has a continuous range of +/-5Arms, can peak to 14A for a short period.  Sounds like you want to regularly measure above 5Arms.  Watch RMS vs peak current in the ratings too.
