Do you know if the compile worker is running?  Can you manually start it?

To manually start the compile worker, go to Start>>Programs>>National Instruments>>FPGA>>FPGA Compile Worker.  You should then see the compile worker running in your Notification area in the bottom right of your screen.

Something isn't right. I do not get any data terminals if try and manually select a 9870 port from an FPGA I/O method. See this: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/9BF90AF3B60A5458862575DE00541F3F

Where are the data terminals???

Hi Acquisition,

Are you sure you selected ModX/PortX?  If you just select ModX, it will not work.  Please show a screen shot of the behavior if this doesn't help.

See below image. If I select Mod1/Port4, then click the method to select "Read Byte", I do not get a Data, Timeout (ms), or Timed Out terminals.

It should look like this:

Any ideas? This occurs in Labview 2012. Labview 2011 seems to work without issue. I have attached the above Labview 2012 project. Does this issue occur in Labview 2012 for anyone else?

Hi Acquisition,

This was reported to R&D (#370152) for further investigation.  One thing you could try is using an example for the NI 9870 from the NI Example Finder to give you a starting place.

Thanks for the feedback!

Jeff - Thanks for the response. I was able to get around the issue by placing all the required methods in Labview 2011, then opening in 2012. If I did not have 2011 installed I would have been out of luck.
