How to use AND gate to combine 2 PWM signals

Hi there,

I want to generate a 10kHz PWM fundamental signal with a 500kHz modulation signal within it. I use an AND gate to combine them together. But When I measure the output, there is only the 10kHz signal no 500kHz modulation signal. But if I measure them separately before the AND gate, I can see both 500kHz and 10kHz signal. So there is no generation issue. I reckon there is something wrong with that AND gate. Can someone please help? Thanks Thanks

Hi

using the And gate to clock the signal will only provide you with  the lower frequency!

And gatse only provide a positive output when both inputs are high.
