Beginner Question- cRIO-9075 not in MAX "Remote Systems"

I just know I'm missing something simple. I'm going through the LabVIEW FPGA Online training and got to the "Connect your device" step. Nothing. It's not appearing in NI-MAX under Remote System.

Here is my setup

  • cRIO-9075 purchased in the past 6 months with some random modules I found in the lab (9403,3501,9802,9263... if that matters)
    • Power LED is on. Status, User 1, User FGPA 1 all off.
    • Never used before
  • Wireless card to local network and onboard ethernet card connected to cRIO. ACT/Link light on, 10/100 light green. Device isn't disabled and set to a static IP
  • Windows 10
  • LabVIEW 2013 sp1
    • NI RIO Device Drivers- August 2013
    • LV FPGA 2013 sp1
    • A critical patch that NI update brought up

Here is what I've tried so far

  • Set my card to various static IP addresses:  10.0.0.1, 192.168.1.1
  • Crossover/non-crossover cable (NI provided).  I didn't think this matters anymore, but I'm grasping at straws
  • Reboot both systems, unplug cable, etc
  • Check that the above software and drivers are actually installed

Thanks in advance.

Works on a co-worker's computer, so the 9075 works.

I'm downloading/installing LabVIEW RT 2013. I'm not sure if that would stop discovery, but I'm missing it none-the-less

New Steps

  • Plugged ethernet port into local network with wireless disabled. Could reach internet, so port works.

I'm almost down to the drivers or weird Win10 problem. Not sure where to go from here.

.... and as if by magic, it's working after that. The only thing I did was disable wireless, check ethernet on another network, enabled wireless and set ethernet back to static IP.
