Simple simple problem, but for the life of me, I just can't figure this out.
I'm reading the voltage output of a sensor with a cRIO (same result with a 1-unit cDAQ device) and a 9205 (configured as differential). The output of the sensor is measured with a DMM as 10.0 V, but the 9205 reads 9.89-9.90V.
-I DO have Com connected to power GND
-the cRIO and sensor are powered by the same power supply
-the setup is not in a vehicle (no ground loops)
-the sensor signal negative output is NOT connected to GND
-I tried using 47k bias resistors but it had no effect
-a calibrator outputting 10V IS read correctly from the 9205
-other sensors from the same manufacturer with different pressure ranges and the DO measure correctly
Simple, I know, but I just can't find the solution.
Attached is a simple drawing of the setup.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Todd

Problem solved...the bias resistors were incorrectly connected to power GND, not COM.
