I'm building a library of models for photovoltaic systems in Modelica. At the time of writing, the library is in the early stages of development, so don't expect mind blowing functionality just yet. In the coming months I hope to make it rich enough that it becomes interesting. The scope will probably be mainly focused on enabling software-in-the-loop set-ups for validating control algorithms of power converters.
I'm sharing this here in case anybody is interested in playing with it in a Modelica environment (i.e. Dymola, OpenModelica) or even using FMI to interface it with LabVIEW.
If you'd like to learn more about Modelica, this online book is a nice place to start. As far as I know, support of FMI in LabVIEW exists with the FMI Add-On for VeriStand and LabVIEW (see in action here) as well as with the FMI for Model Exchange NI Labs toolkit.
