Speaker: Nicholas Sischka (Senior Vision Solutions Engineer, Edmund Optics)
Optics are an integral part of any machine vision system because they transfer the object being observed onto the sensor. The quality of this image transfer is affected by several variables including working distance, f/#, and the color of light used. Often these factors are neglected during the system design until it is too late, and compromises must be made with image quality. At this session, discover how to avoid making these compromises by using some best practices to optimize the optics in a machine vision system.
