TS9549: Developing a Fast Mathematical Model Simulation Module for MicroGrids based on LabVIEW

Speakers:

Ilya Kiselyov (Head of Education Projects, National Instruments Russia)

Anton Petrochenkov (Head of Chair, Perm National Research Polytechnic University)

The main goal was to increase power source units testing efficiency by development of the fast mathematical model simulation module based on LabVIEW for different turbines, their automatic control system and electrical power system co-simulation. Structurally Uni’s MicroGrid Lab consists of power sources, electrical transmission lines, power source controllers, protection controllers, loads and Energy Manager software. Universality of algorithms for computing is achieved by presenting all models of the elements in a single generalized form. The mathematical model of each structural element is represented in the Park-Gorev coordinates. Fast mathematical model of electrical power system is a separate mode.
