Pinout for RC6868 and R6868 cables

Hi,

I am using two RC-6868 cables, Part number 187252-0R25 for the PXI-6229 DAQ module. I am looking for the cable pin mapping between the VHDCI and SCSI connectors on both ends. PLease provide me with the same.

I am also using a R6868 cable, Part number 182482-0R25 for the PXI-8420/8 serial module.  I am looking for the cable pin mapping between the SCSI connectors on both ends. Please provide me with the same.

Hello Shiladitya,

Both the RC68-68 and the R6868 have 1 to 1 pin mappings.  This means that pin 1,2, 3... on both ends are connected together.  The M Series manual  (PXI-6229) has the pin definitions (i.e. pin 1 on connector 0 of your 6229 being PFI 14).

The PXI-8420/8 typical is shipped with a 68 pin cable to 8 serial port cable, and PXI-8420/8 manual does not show pinout like the M Series manual does.
