Hi everyone,
I have a NI PXIe-1078 rack connected to my PC. I have 7 slots populated and 5 of the devices work well but the other two fail the self test. Failing devices are CAN module and a DMM. I can see all the devices in NI-MAX.
I know the slots are working fine and PXIe rack itself is fine because when I connect to another PC, everything works okay.
Could this be related to motherboards or the BIOS version of the PC? Or could this be some setting of the PCI bus that limits the number of devices?
PC where rack works: Motherbaord - Supermicro X10SLA-F, BIOS - 2.2
PC where rack doesn't work: Motherbaord - ASUS H170-PRO, BIOS - 0314
Any help is appreciated,
Kulwant

Hi Kulwant,
Even though the devices are failing at self test, are you able to use them in your applications and if so, do they behave as expected?
Also, when you say everything is fine in another PC with a different mobo, does that mean the same CAN and DMM modules now pass the self test?
Thanks,
