PXIe 1071 modules

Hello, it is possible to add to PXIe 1071 modules PXIe 4492, PXIe 6363, and PXIe 8301? The connection to the computer would be via PXIe 8301. Thank you

Yes, your modules are compatible with each other.

• 1071 is a 4 slot PXIe chassis - all slots are hybrid (supports PXIe and Hybrid cards)
• 8301 plugs into Slot 1 (controller slot)
• 6363 and 4492 - both being PXIe cards, can plug into any slot out of 2 - 4

Make sure to configure the inhibit switch to controlled by the power button directly.

I have one more question, why is it not possible to connect PXIe 8301 module to the PXIe 1073 box?

8301 is a Thunderbolt based alternative to the MXIe or embedded controller. You can use the 8301 only in the chassis that supports an embedded controller.

As you can see in the PXIe-1073, there is no controller slot and this chassis is designed to work only over MXI with an inbuilt MXI controller.
