PXI card control using VEE pro

I have muitple PXI cards that I would like to control using eaither VEE pro or Python. I have read VEE pro supports NI PXI cards thorugh there .NET builder but I am having some trouble initilizing my cards. Does anyone have an example in VEE pro that controls a 5601 or 5652 card? If I cannot us VEE pro Python may work for what I am doing. An example in Python would be helpful as well.
