How to install LabVIEW RT operating system on PXI

I have a PXi Controller 8840 with a defekt hard disk.

So i changed the hard disk und get the now one formatted with the "Ni Max"

No i have the Problem that i can not  install the Software Drivers with the "NI MAX"

There are solso no PXI Slots in the "NI MAX" to see.

The System State is: "no Software intalled"

Do i have to install first the "LabView RT Operation System" on the hard disk of the PXI?

First make sure the connection between your host PC and the real-time PXI is established. Are the IP adress, the IP configuration set correctly and does the status say "operational"? Restart the PXI, having connected a computer monitor before to the PXI; what is shown in the screen?
