Firmware CPLD PXI-4130

Today I found that there is no firmware in CPLD PXI-4130. Is anyone know how to restore firmware?Slot18.png

This error typically indicates a hardware communication failure, not that the CPLD firmware is blank. Do any of the other PXI-4130s in your system exhibit this behavior?

What driver version are you using? You can try upgrading to the latest (17.0 as of this writing).

(To answer your question: The CPLD on the PXI-4130 is not user-upgradable.)

Please try the following:

  1. Perform a hard reboot (shut down the system, reboot, and see if you get the same error)
  2. Shut down and move the card to a different slot (e.g. Swap it with the card is slot 17).

If the problem follows the card, then it is probably damaged and will need to be repaired. If the problem remains in slot 18 (something I do not expect), then there is most likely an issue with your PXIe-1075 chassis.

Other 4130's in chassis is work properly. I insert working 4130 in slot 18 and it works.

I upgraded driver to 17.0. And error is remained.

I inserted broken module in slot 17 - error is remained. Insert broken module in other chassis and error is remained.

That sounds pretty definitively that the module is broken. I would recommend following your RMA process to have it repaired/replaced.
