Since we recently (Spring meeting) had a presentation and discussion on LVOOP, I think some may be interested in the point of view of a "rebel" against it. Personally, thanks to this article, I now understand much better why exactly I never liked the C++/Java/C# "kind" of OOP and why I instantly fell in love with the actor model when I learned about its existence and created my LabHSM and EDQSM long before LVOOP, let alone AF.
