write TDMS file in TestStand using dotNET adapter

I have simply an array of LabVIEW waveforms in Teststand, and I want to write them in a TDMS file. An easy way would be to call a VI, which does it. But if there would be a dotnet assembly with TDMS functions, no VI would be needed.

I searched on the net, and I found a description with an assembly, where nationalinstruments.tdms is included. But as I understood, this will be installed along with Measurement Studio - which I don't need.

Hello Madottati,

I think the easiest and fastest way is to use a VI.
You are right the .NET assembly is included in Measurement Studio and therefore you need a licence.

Is there a special reason why you not want to use a VI?
