numeric limit test

When i use numeric limit test. and use "EQ" than only "low" variable is compared with the datascource and in Reports,

 i get Label as Low for actual value and "Data" for  value to be compared i.e Data scource .

But i want to change this label from "Low" to some other string of my choice and similarly for "Data" label in Reports/

How will i achieve this, i tried making a custom numeric type test and change the nams of low variable from limits container in the Numerice Limit Test to "Received", but i am getting following error.

Error no:-17306

Unknown variable low

Kindly throw some light as to how this can be achieved.

Hello Shweta,

I've been trying to recreate the issue that you have described, but am a little confused about what you would like to see.  Is your question an issue of formatting the report so that it displays differently?  If this is the case, could you please post some screenshots of what you are seeing now, and then describe what you would like to see?  Also, the most likely reason you received the error that the low variable is missing is because the status expression of the numeric limit test checks step.limits.low, which you had removed.  I look forward to hearing back from you!

Correct me if I have understood your problem incorrectly.
You have tried to make a copy of Numeric Test Step type and tried to modify the Limits container to change "Low" to some other string. Now this "Low" varaible of is used in expressions of the step type as well in its substeps. The error you are getting is because the "Low" variable is not found by TestStand.

If you need to add custom results in report you should add it to the Results container and then enable the IncludeInReport flag in its properties.
