label gets reset after hide name?

Hello All,

When we give some name to label and then select and de-select Hide Name in the label step settings the Label Name resets by itself.

I dont know if this behaviour is desirable or not? If desirable kindly explain it!!

I am new to TestStand.

This seems like a bug/feature.  I think what is happening is the name is just being deleted or rather set to empty quotes "".  Then when you uncheck hide name it just goes back to the default Label name.  It probably doesn't store the old name anywhere so it doesn't remember it.  The same thing happens with the Hide Icon as well.  There's not much on this in the Help so it's not clear whether or not this is expected.  It's not in the Reference Manual either.
