Hello,
When I am trying to open the Import/Export Properties I get an System Level exception when the 'GenericImportExport.seq' is run.
The development machine is using windows 7 64 bit with Teststand 32 bit(latest version)
I can see in the sequence that it calls a .dll named TSDBComponents which causes it to fail.
I have tried the following:
Reinstallation and repair of Teststand
Reparing runtime engines of various sort (NI programs)
Good to know:
Was updated from Teststand 2013-->2014 recently.
When exiting Teststand some resources are not released:
References to PropertyObjects were not released properly.
Total number of objects: 56
Number of top-level objects: 7
Note: Some top-level objects may be included if they are referenced by
an incorrectly released top-level object. For example, an unreleased
SequenceContext object references a SequenceFile object.
The following top-level objects were not released:
Type Definitions [3 object(s) not released]
Type Definition #1:
Name: DatabasePropertyMapping
Type Definition #2:
Name: DatabaseColumnValue
Type Definition #3:
Name: Expression
PropertyObjects [4 object(s) not released]
PropertyObject #1:
Name: PropertiesList
Type: Array of Containers
PropertyObject #2:
Name: ExtraInfo
Type: Array of Containers
PropertyObject #3:
Name: PropertiesList
Type: Array of Containers
PropertyObject #4:
Name: ExtraInfo
Type: Array of Containers
From an previous post I saw that it was possible to get some more information regarding the exception with procdump, I dont know if this helps at all but here it is at least.
procdump.exe -g -e 1 -f c0000005 -x c:\dumpdir "C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\TestStand 2014\Bin\seqedit.exe" [10:17:45] Exception: 04242420 [10:17:48] Exception: E06D7363.PAVEETypeLoadException@@ [10:17:48] Exception: E06D7363.msc [10:17:48] Exception: E06D7363.msc [10:17:48] Exception: E06D7363.msc [10:17:50] Exception: E06D7363.PAVEETypeLoadException@@ [10:17:50] Exception: E06D7363.msc [10:18:20] Exception: C0000005.ACCESS_VIOLATION
