TestStand Installation Failure

Hi,

 

I am not able to install the TestStand 4.1 or 4.2.1 evaluation versions (MicroSoft Windows XP Service Pack 3, 3.2 GHz, 2GB RAM )

 

Attached is the installation error screenshot.

 

I have tried disabling the McAfee Virus Scan services during the installation also.

 

Still I am getting the same error.

 

Can anyone please help me with this?

Are you installing from a disc or downloaded file?

Hi,

 

I am installing from the Evaluation TS 4.1 and 4.2.1Discs got from NI. Not the downloaded one.

The Firewall setting on the Windows XP is already set to OFF, when I tried the teststand installation.

Check on another machine, if you face the same error.

I have installed in another machine, which has similar Configuration (Windows XP, Service Pack3, 2GB RAM, 3.2 GHz)

 

There it is successful.

Check the Spyware, Antivirus and Firewall settings. There must be some difference.
