Is it possible to Create New Test Sequence Group from already created Individual test sequences with TestStand Debug Deployment License ?

Although I haven't heard of any company that has developed exactly what you're describing, I'm sure something of that nature has been done before.

It has been my experience with touch screen applications that, generally speaking, they simply emulate mouse click events where the user touches the screen, and it doesn't have any significant effects on the performance of either the operating system or applications being run. That is to say I don't believe there are any precautions that need to be taken when creating a test sequence that will be used through a touch screen.

TestStand will perform equally well on Windows 2000 as it would on Windows XP and vice versa. There really is no advantage or disadvantage to the performance of TestStand on one platform over the other.

If  you're looking to start development on a test system using TestStand but aren't sure how to get started, one option you may want to consider is our Alliance Program. These are companies that deal exclusively with integrating National Instruments Hardware and Software into a solution specific to your needs. You can find more information on Alliance members here:

            Hello,

I was searching for a while on the forum but I could not find clear information on what exactly is possible to do with TestStand Debug Deployment Licence.

What covers the ‘simple sequence debugging capabilities’ for TestStand Base Deployment Engine License or ‘maximum flexibility’ for TestStand Debug Deployment Environment License?

Having installed only TestStand Debug Deployment Licence is it possible to do exactly the same things like with the Development System? For example:

 - Is it possible to edit/modify/add a new sequence file?

 - Is it possible to edit/modify/add a new step to a sequence file?

Is there maybe a document comparing TestStand Development, TestStand Base Deployment and TestStand Debug Deployment like it exists for LabVIEW? Or atleast a more detailed documentation which describes the ‘simple and the flexible sequence debugging capabilities’?

Thank you for your help.

     Regards,

      Eva
