File Path Error When Building Executable

I am trying to build an executable in a sequence that dynamically creates a file path.  When I analyze the executable, I get warnings about the file path (see image), but it runs fine.  When I try to build the executable, the same warnings/errors cause the build to fail. 

The explanation text reads as follows, "Files that path expressions reference might not be included in the set of files to analyze. This rule provides a list of those expressions. You might need to manually add files expressions reference to the workspace for correct deployment."  How do I manually add the appropriate files to make the executable build run successfully?

that's just a warning.  Was your build successful?

Nope.  The executable build failed, even though the sequence runs fine.
