Can I create Custom Menu Dropdowns (like Sync/DB/IVI) ?

I've created a number of Custom Step types that are currently available when I right click to insert a new step.

The "Syncronization", "Database" and "IVI" types are setup so that when you click on them, they provide an additional level dropdown to organize the steps.

Is there a way that I can duplicate this with my custom steps? I have a fair number that I am creating and would like to organize them similarly.

Hi Mike,

Do you mean like in the BMP I have attached.

If, so check out the TestStand 2.0.1 User Manual Chapter 9 - 53 Step Type Menu Editor.

In the Group Settings controls, the SubMenu check box is the control you use.

Open the Type Palette Window, Select your ini file in the Palette control. Click on any of the step types and right mouse click. Then select the Step Type Menu Editor.
