Access Softbin and Harbin Name in Teststand Sequence

Hi, I would like to access the SoftBin Name so that I can datalog it or print
it out to a file.  How can I access the SoftBin or Hardbin name in Teststand?

Hi,

To access the Software and Hardware Bins in TestStand you should be able to do this in the Bin Definitions Editor:

Hi, thanks for the reply.  My request is a bit different, I would like to access the softbin name so that I can print it in a datalog (or add it to a DTR in stdf) in realtime as each site is being binned out.  I would access it something like root.dut.test_scoket.bin or something like that.

What type of data would you like to access within software and hardware bin?

Basically at the end of my test sequence, I want to datalog into a DTR the softbin name so that I can easily sort datalogs by the softbin name instead of the softbin number.  To do this, i would need the softbin number or name accessible within the flow by some variable so that I can produce a DTR or datalog to a text file etc.

Hi

I have the same concern with patcadcirrus. how can we datalog the software binning, except for the one automatically datalog by the teststand?

Thanks.

Jadam,

Thanks for responding on this thread! We have a pretty active community at TestStand but since this forum post is a bit older, it might be a better idea to create a new forum post referencing this link so more users can look at it and offer their opinions and hopefully implementations.
